Thankful: Day 26
I am thankful that on a day like today (Black Friday) I know myself well enough to know two important facts: I don't like shopping and I don't like a competitive crowd.
Besides, I have the girls' wish lists, I looked over the ads, and I didn't see anything that paired up into a terrific deal. So I have no reason to go out.
Thankful: Day 25
I am thankful that on Thanksgiving I have family to gather with. I don't feel eloquent (who am I kidding--I never feel eloquent!) to state all of my tender feelings about my family, and perhaps this isn't the place to do so anyway. But I love my family and am thankful for them, and also, I love to be around them-that is a great blessing.
