Following along the lines of yesterday's gratitude post:
Today I am thankful for socks.
Clean. Dry. Warm.
I have my favorite socks for running.
I have my favorite socks for wearing around town.
I have my favorite socks for keeping my feet warm when I am at home carrying about the mundane tasks of the day.
I become disappointed quickly when I have only one sock of the two to make the pair that I need. Conversely, life feels in perfect focus when I go to my sock bin and find the exact pair of socks that I need.
Lovely focus...all in a pair of double-lined white cotton socks. Or cashmere. Or wool. Or stripes.
Yep. Today, I am thankful for socks.
