spinach. tomatoes. lots of tomatoes. cucumbers. zucchini. lettuce. onions. more cucumbers. and even more tomatoes.
belly. belly getting bigger. cute jeans put away. ugly baggy-butt maternity jeans on. need to purchase smaller maternity jeans, hopefully without baggy-butt. guess i'm a little smaller this time 'round. not as round. i do enjoy my belly getting bigger. bigger belly = baby growing.
food. love to eat food. hungry. i want vegetables all the time. and some meat. not usually one for craving protein, but grilled chicken, a hamburger, some fish, a steak...mmmm. with lots of vegetables on the side.
vegetables. growing vegetables. need to build a raised bed. and supports for tomatoes. lots of tomatoes. cucumbers. zucchini.
as soon as the snow goes away.
snow.
so much snow.
it snowed again today.
it will never go away.
it has reached into the 30's this week. that is great.
30's. i will be 32 before this babe is born.
aging. it doesn't seem to stop.
at least the 30's seem to be more fun that the 20's.
well, maybe not fun ... i don't know how to describe it, but 30's are better than 20's. much like 20's are better than the teen years. ...anything is better than the teen years!
years. there is a six-year age gap between this baby and the last. will i even know what i'm doing with this next baby? is it like riding a bicycle? well, like riding a different bicycle? every baby is different and i get that. but will i still know to trust my instincts?
vegetables. i could go for some steamed vegetables. mmmm. meat.
tomatoes.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would ever read a post and then crave veggies. Subliminal messaging really does work.
Enough with this winter bring on Spring and those veggies in the garden!
Love your random thoughts! You always make me laugh! I can't believe is Maddi really 6? You will be great and yes every baby is different but your instincts will be right on. Mine are only going to be 23 months apart and I feel like I forgot everything about having a newborn! So excited for you!
